What is the Sleep Technology Professionals Sleep Disorders Research Survey and why is it being done?

Researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital are conducting this survey to gather data anonymously on sleep issues among sleep technology professionals. This survey is to help better understand the concerns and needs of this group to improve their health and wellbeing as part of MyApnea.Org.


What is involved and how long does it take to fill out the survey?

If you choose to participate in this anonymous survey, you will be asked to complete a 25 question survey exploring your sleep habits. The survey can be completed in 10-15 minutes.


How are Sleep Technology Professionals selected to fill out the survey?

Emails were sent out to provider members of MyApnea.Org and posted within the Community Forum.


How is my privacy protected?

All of the information you complete on the survey will be anonymous. The data you enter is securely transmitted and stored on servers at the Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Information obtained from the surveys will only be reported about the group and no individual data will be shared.


Why should I participate?

Your completion of this survey will increase our knowledge of sleep issues among sleep technology professionals. Results of this survey will be available through the MyApnea.Org website.
